Iniziamo con il dire che il forte caldo è pericoloso e comporta dei rischi per l’organismo. Questo aspetto riguarda in maggior modo chi dedica tempo all’attività fisica all’aperto. Durante le attività, infatti, il nostro corpo è impegnato a trasformare il cibo in energia, e questo produce, di per se, calore che deve essere disperso dal corpo tramite la traspirazione; producendo sudore il bunner-Cardio-Racecorpo si raffredda, perdendo però, contemporaneamente, sali minerali e liquidi che è necessario inserire nuovamente, mentre ci si allena e dopo. La somma del calore prodotto dall’allenamento con il calore esterno può essere molto pericoloso e provocare il “colpo di calore”, cioè un accumulo di calore eccessivo nel corpo.

Meglio il tessuto tecnico. Il cotone non favorisce l’evaporazione del sudore, evitare di coprire la testa con cappelli: la testa è una fondamentale area di dispersione del calore corporeo. E se la fatica ci assale e sentiamo il calore in eccesso, bagnare la testa aiuta a recuperare la giusta temperature.

Bere, bere, bere. Prima di correre è importante idratare il corpo bevendo almeno mezz’ora prima della corsa. Durante l’allenamento è importante bere per recuperare i liquidi persi. Cercare quindi aree “ristoro” durante il tragitto.

Mangiare leggero. Quando fa caldo il corpo ha bisogno di evitare cibi pesanti e grassi, mentre necessita di frutta e verdura, cariche di minerali.

Attenzione agli orari. E’ necessario correre nelle ore più fresche. Quindi meglio nelle prime ore del mattino oppure in tarda serata, scegliendo percorsi freschi, a contatto con la natura.
