L’abbraccio fa bene, perché?

L’abbraccio è uno dei segni d’affetto più potenti che esista.

I ricercatori hanno scoperto che se un abbraccio dura più di 20 secondi produce un effetto terapeutico sul corpo e sulla mente.

La ragione è l’ormone “ossitocina”, chiamato anche l’ormone della felicità (o dell’amore), già presente naturalmente nel nostro corpo, che aiuta a rilassarsi e a placare le ansie.

Questo calmante naturale viene prodotto con un abbraccio, con un bacio, con le carezze o semplicemente tenendo un amico per le spalle.

Non a caso i bambini piccoli stretti in un amorevole abbraccio riescano a placarsi e calmarsi.

Venti secondi di abbraccio non solo potrebbero aiutare il rafforzamento di legami sentimentali ma anche incidere sulla nostra salute riducendo:

  • lo stress e ansia,
  • la stanchezza,
  • il rischio di depressione

Un abbraccio ci aiuta a rafforzare il sistema immunitario, aumenta il buonumore e ci salvaguarda da malattie cardiache e ipertensione.

Alcune ricerche sostengono che l’uomo necessiti di quattro abbracci al giorno.

La famosa frase: “Fate l’amore, non fate la guerra” dovrebe essere una filosofia di vita per il benessero nostro e degli altri.
