Autunno: 4 consigli per passarlo al meglio

In autunno e nei mesi invernali, per far fronte al senso di malessere che può crescere quando le giornate si accorciano e la luce diminuisce, definito come disordine affettivo stagionale (il cui acronimo è SAD, termine che curiosamente in inglese vuol dire triste), noto anche come depressione d’inverno, lo psichiatra Angelos Halaris,del Loyola University Health System, ha identificato quattro strategie.

1. Sole: se possibile trascorrere 30 minuti al giorno all’aria aperta senza occhiali da sole e arrotolando le maniche dei vestiti (se è il caso) per far prendere sole alla pelle. Tutto ciò contribuisce ad alleviare i sintomi di malessere.

2. Luce: luogo di lavoro e casa devono essere se possibile ben illuminate. Meglio tirare le tende per far entrare la luce naturale.

3. Esercizio: fare attività fisica almeno 30 minuti al giorno perché così si rilasciano endorfine che contribuiscono a farci provare benessere e farci provare più energia.

4. Farmaci: se luce, sole ed esercizio non sono abbastanza per contrastare il malessere, si può consultare un professionista della salute mentale.
